We announced the Call-for-Paper for the SAE Special Issue: "Emerging Simulation Tools and Technologies for Testing and Evaluating Connected and Automated Vehicles". Researchers from all fields are encouraged to submit their papers by Mar. 31, 2020.
We successfully held the 2020 IEEE Intelligent Vehicles (IV) Symposium "Internet of Things in Intelligent Transportation Systems: Opportunities and Challenges" Workshop, with a maximum attendees of 50 (much higher than the average).
Our paper "A Game Theory Based Ramp Merging Strategy for Connected and Automated Vehicles in the Mixed Traffic: A Unity-SUMO Integrated Platform" got accepted by Transportation Research Board 100th Annual Meeting.
We successfully held the 23rd IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems "Testing and Evaluation Connected and Automated Vehicles Using Emerging Simulation Technologies" Workshop, with a maximum attendees of 65 (much higher than the average).

Our three papers "Long-Term Prediction of Lane Change Maneuver through a Multilayer Perceptron", "Sensor Fusion of Camera and Cloud Digital Twin Information for Intelligent Vehicles", and "Optimal Control-Based Eco-Ramp Merging System" got accepted by 2020 IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV 2020), held in Las Vegas, NV during Oct. 20-23, 2020.

Our cooperative ramp merging driving simulator (designed by Toyota and University of California, Riverside collaboratively) was showcased during CES, at the booth of U.S. Department of Transportation.
